RESIDENCE BY INVESTMENT<\/span><\/h3>\n

A new act on the general rules of third country nationals\u2019 inward travel and Hungarian residence entered into force on 1 January 2024, introducing (similarly to certain other countries) the \u201eresidency through investment\u201d concept in Hungary via the rules governing the \u201eguest investor visa\u201d and the \u201eguest investor residence permit\u201d. In practice this means that third country nationals making one of the three possible investments are entitled to Hungarian visa and residence permit. Guest investors and their family members are entitled to stay and work in Hungary without restrictions for 10 plus 10 years.<\/p>\n
